Day 1 Arrival in Nairobi
Upon your arrival at Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met and welcomed by company representatives as well as your tour drivers / guides for the safari. You will then receive a short introduction and briefing about your safari which gives you an opportunity to familiarize with your drivers. After the briefing, you will be transferred to your five stars hotel in Nairobi for overnight and rest.

Day 2 Nairobi – Shaba National Reserve
After breakfast, you will depart from Nairobi and drive through beautifully farmed lands and winding roads and approach the semi-arid countryside of northern Kenya. On the way, you may stop for a photo at the equator. You will arrive at the Shaba Reserve for lunch at the lodge. The Shaba Reserve has dramatic scenery including river-side forests, scattered woodlands and dry grasslands dominated by the Shaba Hill volcano. The Shaba Reserve is also home to the endangered Gravy’s zebra and the rare William’s Lark. Shaba was the setting for the book and film Born Free, for the film Out of Africa and for the reality show Survivor: Africa. In the evening, you will be driven to Samburu Sopa Lodge for overnight and dinner.

Day 3 Samburu National Reserve
After breakfast, you will enjoy morning and afternoon game viewing within the park which is home to the rare and exotic wildlife species such as the Gerenuk, Rothschild Giraffe, Gravy’s Zebra, endangered Samburu monkeys, Beisa Oryx and large elephant herds. The park also offers optional rides on the back of a camel under the guidance of a professional camel guide. If you so wish, you may visit the Samburu villages for a cultural visit and spend some time with the hospitable and colorfully decorated Morans amidst traditional songs and dances. In the evening, you will be transferred back to your lodge for rest and dinner.

Day 4 Samburu National Reserve – Aberdare National Park
After breakfast you will check out of the lodge and be driven to the Aberdare Ranges in central province where you will arrive at the lodge in time for check in and lunch. After lunch, venture into the park in the company of your driver / guide for afternoon game drives within the pristine wilderness which is famously known for its attractive moorlands, majestic peaks and waterfalls. In the evening, you will be transferred back to the lodge for rest, dinner and overnight.

Day 5 Aberdare National Park – Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, you will check out of your rooms and exit from the park and be driven to Lake Nakuru passing through the Great Rift Valley for scenic photographs and a stopover at the escarpment. You will then proceed to Lake Nakuru arriving for check in and lunch at the camp. After lunch, you will proceed for afternoon game drives within the park, which is a famous rhino sanctuary and bird watchers paradise.

Day 6 Lake Nakuru National Park – Maasai Mara National Reserve
Enjoy an early morning pre breakfast game drive within the beautiful park which is home to flamingo, pelicans, white rhino, black rhino, warthog, lion, leopard, giraffe, buffalo and plenty of other plains game. You will also enjoy a brisk walk at the shores of the lake. After breakfast you will check out of the rooms and depart to the Mara Reserve, home to the big five and numerous plains game. You will arrive in time for check in and late lunch before departing for evening game drives. Maasai Mara is home to the big five, over 450 recorded bird species and numerous plains game. The Maasai Mara is also home to the colorfully decorated Maasai tribesmen. You may occasionally see the Maasai criss-crossing the park as they go about their daily activities completely unbothered by the wild animals which roam in the bushes.

Day 7 Maasai Mara National Reserve
You will this day in the company of your driver exploring the park. You will visit the Mara River Ecosystem which is teeming with bird-life, hippo and crocodile, in the heart of Kenya’s Maasai Mara National Reserve. It offers the best game and bird-viewing not only in Kenya, but anywhere in Africa. The views across the rolling golden grasslands studded with acacia trees, rivers and forests are dazzling, the sense of space overwhelming. You will explore the park and the vicinity, gently blending into the surrounding wilderness which remains in its virgin condition, while the landscaped gardens filled with indigenous trees at the back which draw a great variety of birds and butterflies.Lunch, dinner and breakfast at Mara Sopa Lodge

Day 9 Maasai Mara National Reserve – Nairobi
After breakfast you will exit from the rooms and enjoy a final morning game drive for an opportunity to spot the early risers as they start off the day; and also to have a glimpse of the park when it is most active. After the game drive you will exit from the park and be driven back to Nairobi; stopping for lunch at Narok Town. You will reach Nairobi in the evening and be transferred to the hotel for check in and rest. We shall have an interactive session in the evening so that you can give us feedback about your safari as well as talk about other general issues.Bed and breakfast at your five stars hotel in Nairobi.
Day 10 Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport
Depending on your international departure flight schedule, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport 2 hours before departure to check in for your flight to your next destination.
