4 Days Maasai Mara, Hell’s Gate and Lake Nakuru Safari; this is a popular safari that takes the traveler out of the city of Nairobi for four days visiting the parks that are not too distant – namely Lake Naivasha which is less than an hour’s drive, Lake Nakuru which is ne and a half hours away and Maasai Mara which is four and a half hours by road. this trip includes nature walks, game viewing, boat riding and birding.

Day to Day Itinerary:

Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara

Meet and greet at your residence within Nairobi or at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by Marascarface Travelers Courtesy Team in the morning and receive a short introduction and briefing about the safari. After the briefing, depart by road to the Mara Reserve, home to the big five and numerous plains game. You will arrive in time for check in and lunch at the tented camp before departing for afternoon game drives. Optional activities include hot air balloon safari, guided nature walks, bush lunch/dinner/breakfast, bird walks, and evening sundowner.

Day 2: Maasai Mara

Spend a full day within the exciting park which is home to the big five, birds, migration of wildebeest and the colorful Maasai tribesmen. Optional activities include cultural visits to Maasai villages, hot balloon flight, night game drives, nature trails, bird walks or bush meals.

Day 3: Maasai Mara – Naivasha – Hell’s Gate National Park

After breakfast exit the park with packed picnic lunch and depart to the shores of Lake Naivasha. Upon arrival you will proceed to the scenic Hells Gate Park for game viewing. This is the only park in Kenya where walking, cycling and horse riding is allowed within the park. Spend the afternoon exploring the park either on foot or on bikes. You will visit the gorges and the bird observation point for more scenic views of the park. In the evening, you will be transferred to your cottage located at the shores of the beautiful Lake Naivasha for check in, rest and dinner.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Lake Nakuru National Park – Nairobi

After breakfast, you will check out of your rooms and depart to the neighboring Lake Nakuru for morning game drives. Lake Nakuru is home to rhino, giraffe, warthog, zebra, the elusive leopard, hyena and hundreds of fuchsia pink flamingos and birds. You will also visit the Makalia waterfalls (if during the rainy season) and also visit the scenic baboon cliff and lion hill for photography of the park from an aerial point. You will break for lunch at the Lion Hill Lodge or the Lake Nakuru Lodge as you proceed with the game drives. In the evening you will be driven back to Nairobi arriving after 2 ½ hours drive. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your preferred destination within the city or to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your outbound flight to your next destination.
