6 Days Amboseli – Naivasha – and – Masai Mara – Sopa Safari

On arrival at the airport you will be met by the tour driver/guide for a meet, greet and a short tour briefing then driven to Amboseli National Park. Amboseli is the home of the African elephant, crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. It is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. It has quite a number of wildlife like the leopard, cheetah, wild dogs, buffalo, elephant, hyrax, dik-dik and many more not forgetting prolific birdlife of 600 species like vultures, eagles, weaverbirds etc. Arrival at a good time for check in and lunch followed by the afternoon game drive returning back to the same lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast from the lodge you will depart for a full day game drive in the park with a packed lunch provided. We shall go exploring different habitats like the wetlands with Sulphur springs, the savannah, woodlands and the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli. We shall search for all the species of birds and wild animals such as the Elephants, Lions, Leopards, Elands, Gazelles, Topi, Rhino, Buffaloes and many more found in this park. Its compact size allows you to see virtually every aspect. Return back to the lodge at sunset.

We shall leave Amboseli for Lake Naivasha after breakfast driving a long Mombasa Road with a stop at the view point for breath taking arriving in good time for check in and lunch at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort. You shall enjoy a boat ride on the lake and a visit to the crescent Island which allows you to spot hippo and numerous bird species like the kingfisher, fish eagle, herons and more. The lake itself is picturesque, set against a purple backdrop of the Eburu volcanic mountain range lined by thick yellow barked acacia xanthophyll trees. At the crescent island you can go for a nature walk around it while watching the animals in the park. Dinner and Overnight to be served at the resort.

After breakfast in Lake Naivasha Resort, we shall leave for Masai Mara National Reserve. We shall check in to Maasai Mara Sopa lodge on arrival and have lunch. Maasai mara is part of the Serengeti national park in Tanzania. It is a habitat for the big 5 and several other animals like hyenas, giraffes, antelopes etc. and many bird species. It is known for its famous over millions of wildebeest migration from Tanzania to Maasai Mara. We shall go bird watching where we may encounter the national bird of Kenya with a game drive around the park to see animals such as gazelles and zebras grazing and wildcats such as the lion, leopard, cheetah hunting returning back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast from the lodge you will explore Masai Mara National Reserve for unlimited game drives. Packed lunch will be served at the picnic site as you watch the birds and the wild animals. Masai Mara offers the opportunity to see the famous predators like the lions, cheetah, leopard etc. on their hunting spree while the grazers grazing too. The mara plains accommodates virtually every species of other wild animals including antelopes, zebras, giraffes, buffalos, and all the big 5 and over 478 species of birds such as vultures, eagles, marabou storks etc. Hot air balloon safari may be served early morning in the park at an additional cost. Dinner and Overnight at the lodge.
