7 Days Amboseli – Masai Mara Wildlife Safari

On arrival at the airport, you will be met by our company’s representative for a briefing before your safari to Amboseli. Amboseli is known as the best place in Africa for getting up close to free-ranging elephants. The population is so robust here that sightings are guaranteed! Kilimanjaro, the largest mountain in Africa and the highest free-standing mountain in the world towers over the park like a stately and photogenic sentinel. When the clouds burn off at dusk or dawn, you’ll be treated to visions of its snowy peak. You’ll arrive in time for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive. During the game drive, you will spot wildebeests, zebras, buffalos, gazelles, cheetahs, lions and many more. The bird life is equally rich, especially in the park’s marshes and lakes. Be ready for sightings of pelicans, kingfishers, crakes, egrets and the Madagascar heron. The sky and horizon are vast here encompassing Amboseli’s 5 wildlife environments which ensure great numbers and biodiversity.

You will go for a morning game drive before breakfast at the hotel. You will be exploring different habitats like the wetlands with Sulphur springs, the savannah, woodlands and the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli. Its compact size allows you to see virtually every aspect. You will go for afternoon and evening game drives in search of the birds and the Big Five wild animals returning back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at sunset.

After breakfast, you will leave Amboseli for Lake Naivasha. You will check in at Fish Eagle Inn before going for a game drive at the Hell’s Gate National Park. Lake Naivasha is a habitat for various wildlife like zebras, leopards, and different species of birds. You will go boat riding to Crescent Island, feed the eagles, and trek around it enjoying the view in the afternoon shortly after lunch at the lodge. Your dinner will be at the lodge where you will rest overnight. Accommodation and meals are on a full-board basis.

After early breakfast, depart from the lodge with packed picnic lunch and depart for a tour of the crater floor, which is home to numerous plains game and the big five. Spend the day within the crater and have lunch at one of the famous picnic spots in the park. In the evening, you will ascend back to the crater rim and into your lodge for rest, dinner and overnight stay.

You will head to Masai Mara early in the morning after breakfast. Masai Mara is part of the Serengeti reserve in Tanzania known for the famous wildebeest migration from Tanzania to Mara. Mara is the greatest adventurous wilderness in Africa. It is the home of the Big Five (leopard, rhino, elephant, lion, cheetah) and many prolific birds. You will check in to AA Mara Lodge, have lunch and go for an afternoon game drive. You will have dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

You will go for an early morning game drive before breakfast at the lodge. You will visit the Masai Mara plains, Esoit escarpments and bushes with a professional tour guide. A picnic lunch will be served at a picnic site as you watch the wild animals. Optional activities such as a balloon ride will be enjoyed at an additional cost. You will return to the lodge at sunset for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will leave Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi where you will be transferred to your hotel of stay or the airport.
