8 Days Samburu – Nakuru – Naivasha – Amboseli Safari

On arrival at the International Airport, you will be met with our company’s representative for a short tour briefing before heading to Samburu National Reserve. On arrival, you will check in to Samburu Simba Lodge and enjoy a buffet lunch. You will go for an evening game drive through the park to see various animals like the reticulated giraffe, gravy zebras, lions, cheetahs, and African leopards. Other mammals like olive baboons, warthogs, impalas, and waterbucks are also frequently seen. You will return back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

You will go for a morning game drive before breakfast at the lodge. You will go for a camel trekking safari and village visit to interact with the Samburu people and culture. Afterward, you will have your lunch at the lodge to relax. You will go for afternoon and evening game drives. You will visit buffalo springs, a home for over 390 bird species like the acacia tit, ashy cisticola, African swifts, etc. You will go for a nature walk and enjoy the sunset around the Ewaso Nyiro river banks. Your dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

After breakfast, you will depart Samburu for Ol Pejeta arriving in the afternoon. Check in at Maisha Sweet Waters Camp for lunch and immediate game drives are taken. Ol Pejeta is a conservancy well known for the protection of endangered species of animals, especially the white rhinos, elephants, etc. It is the only place here in Kenya where you will see chimps. Dinner and your overnight stay at the camp.

Depart Ol Pejeta Conservancy after breakfast for Lake Nakuru National Park with game en route. You will arrive in good time for check-in to Lake Nakuru Lodge and lunch followed by the afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is known for its thousands if not millions of flamingos that reside on the lake. The flamingos make the lake waters look pink when their colour reflects on the waters. Later in the evening, you will return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

After breakfast, you shall leave for Hell’s Gate National Park. Here you can walk or ride a bicycle to interact with the wild animals up close. Continue to Kongoni Lodge for lunch. Later, enjoy a boat ride in the lake to view hippos in the water and the birds that surround the lake. Dinner and your overnight stay are at the lodge.

After breackfast depart for safari to Amboseli national park reachin in good time for lunch. Amboseli is known as the best place in Africa for getting up close to free-ranging elephants. The population is so robust here that sightings are guaranteed! Kilimanjaro, the largest mountain in Africa and the highest free-standing mountain in the world towers over the park like a stately and photogenic sentinel. When the clouds burn off at dusk or dawn, you’ll be treated to visions of its snowy peak. You’ll arrive in time for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive. During the game drive, you will spot wildebeests, zebras, buffalos, gazelles, cheetahs, lions and many more. The bird life is equally rich, especially in the park’s marshes and lakes. Be ready for sightings of pelicans, kingfishers, crakes, egrets and the Madagascar heron. The sky and horizon are vast here encompassing Amboseli’s 5 wildlife environments which ensure great numbers and biodiversity.

After breackfast you will go a full-day game drive with a packed lunch provided that will be served at a picnic site. During the game, you will see different wild animals such as leopards, topi, lions, buffaloes, and many more species of birds. You will go exploring different habitats like the wetlands with Sulphur springs, the savannah, woodlands and the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli. Its compact size allows you to see virtually every aspect and then you will be back to your Hotel by dusty sun set.

You will leave for Nairobi after breakfas at Amboseli Park. On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel of stay or the airport. You will leave Kenya after a great adventure.
